About Us

At Geranos Getaways, we believe in appreciating culture through tourism. Travelling is not just about visiting new places but also about experiencing new ways of life, traditions, and values. By immersing ourselves in local culture, we can gain a deeper understanding and appreciation for the world around us.

Our motto, “rediscover yourself”, speaks to the essence of travelling and the motivation to escape from our comfort zones and experience tourism responsibly. Our mission is to provide travellers with an authentic and immersive cultural experience that allows them to appreciate the diversity of our world and rediscover themselves in the process.

We understand that time is of the essence in today’s fast-paced world. Our digital platform serves as a treasure trove of meticulously researched information, specifically focused on short yet profoundly impactful getaways in Punjab and Uttarakhand. Our offerings are tailored to satiate the thirst of those whose time may be finite but whose appetite for adventure knows no bounds.

So stay tuned!

Our Vision

To be the trusted aggregator for unconventional Indian Experiences.

Why the Crane?

  • The term γερανός (geranós) in Greek Mythology personifies the majestic Crane.
  • World over, the crane embodies happiness, longevity, and good fortune. The ritual migration of the Siberian Crane over thousands of kilometres symbolises the spirit of travel, adventure and the desire to rediscover oneself!
  • We at Geranos Getaways salute the migratory spirit of the Crane.
  • Come, rediscover yourself!

Our Logo

  • The rich Indian culture is best symbolised by the traditional Indian folk art of ‘rangolis’ made across the length and breadth of the country. The rangoli represents the happiness, positivity and liveliness of a household. We celebrate the spirit of rangoli in our logo to highlight the vibrant Indian culture.
  • The bright multiple-font colours represent the joy of travel.
  • The term Geranos, in Greek mythology, personifies the Crane. We depict the crane in the shape of the letter G in the centre of the rangoli.
  • Our logo, ‘rediscover yourself‘, in two words, explains the very essence of travelling. The ultimate motivation to travel is to rediscover oneself.
  • The highlighting of the word ‘away‘ in green embodies the need to get away from our comfort zones and experience tourism responsibly.
